Poland has a very strong economy, in fact their economy is the fastest growing economy of any post communist country. Denmark has a successful economy even in the present day. Denmark has been known to be an agricultural economy, but in the last few years they have become more industrious. Denmark has had a very strong economy since World War II. Poland has not always had a strong economy; in 1945 - 1989 they did not have a free market economy, because they were ruled by communist Soviet Union. In the 1980's Poland suffered the effects of a recession because they were changing their economy drastically from a socialist economy to a free trade society. In the 90's the Polish economy recovered from the recession and is deemed a successful economy to present day. | ![]() Poland's G.D.P. ![]() Denmark's G.D.P. |
